How Would You React to Being “Called Out” for Sin?

April 10, 2018

Last week, we discussed why it’s OK to call out other Christians for sin and how to do it.

Now the question becomes, how would you react if another Christian with whom you had a close relationship approached you and told you that they saw an open sin in your life?

Would you yell at them? Dissolve the friendship? or would you take it to heart and examine if there was any truth to their statement?

How you react to this will tell you much about the condition of your heart. Watch the vlog below to see what your reaction reveals and what to do. If you like it, please share!

Two Reasons It's OK for Christians to "call each other out" for Sin| Transformed4More.com| Accountability| Ministry for Christian Teenage Girls

Confession time: I was saved at age 13 and lived a faithful Christian life; however,  somewhere along the way, I began to think that I was better than other Christians because “my sin wasn’t as bad as their sin.” This is a prideful and self-deceiving attitude, but I acquired it nonetheless.

Then, my senior year of college, I had an experience that forever changed me. I was in the car with a guy friend and saw a girl that I absolutely could not stand. I looked at him and said, “Do you see that girl right there? She is terrible…” and went on to list every negative thing I knew about her.

Two Ways to Prevent Confusion in Dating Relationships| Transformed4More.com| Christian Dating| Teenage Dating

Last week, I published a blog titled “Three Questions to Ask Yourself When Your Relationship is Confusing”.  I kept thinking about the topic of relationship confusion and realized that you can prevent much of it if you follow two simple guidelines.

As a disclaimer, this is a tough love post. It comes across harsh because I’m extremely serious and passionate about the topic of healthy relationships and taking your relationship with God seriously.

There is also a video at the bottom of the post where I talk about this topic just to make sure my sincere emotions show through. If you prefer to watch a video over reading, just keep scrolling :).

So here we go with guideline number one…

January 18, 2018

***Update 2021: The question, “Will God forgive me for sexting” is the most “google searched” question that leads people to our site…if you are looking for the answer to that question, CLICK HERE.***

What to Say When a Guy Asks You for Photos| Transformed4More.com| Teenage Dating| Blog for Teenage GIrls

Maddie sat in her bedroom with her phone debating what to say. She had been crushing hard on a guy named Austin and they had been talking for a couple months. A few minutes before, she received a text from Austin that said, “Since we’ve been talking for awhile now, I’d like to get to know you even more. Can you send me pics?”

She knew she should tell him no, but she was feeling a whirlwind of emotions and wasn’t sure exactly how to put it in writing. She knew if she simply said, “no,” he would respond with, “Why not” and didn’t know how to explain it.

Have you or a friend ever been in Maddie’s situation?
