Have you been looking for different items, such as books or activities to supplement the Bible when teaching your children about the true meaning of Christmas and/or Advent? Then, this post is for you!

Over the last few years, I have bought several items to fulfill this purpose, some were really helpful, but some were not. So, in today’s post I wanted to share five resources I’ve found to help teach young children (ages 3-7) the basics.

The Special Wreath

The Special Wreath: An Explanation of the Advent Wreath for Small Children is a book I wrote that simply explains the parts of the Advent Wreath for children and reiterates that Jesus is the true focus of Christmas. It has a rhyming flow which my kids really enjoy. Click here or the picture below to learn more!

Two Truths to Remember when Christmas Isn't Merry| Tranformed4More.com| Blog for Teenage Girls

Admittedly, I use to think of angels as chubby toddlers flying around with harps.

However, after reading the Bible more in depth and listening to a few sermons on angels, I came to realize I was waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy off. In today’s vlog, using the angelic visits in the Christmas story, I want to share with you what I’ve learned and hopefully show you angles in a more correct manner.

Three Characteristics to Mirror from Mary

December 6, 2017

Three Characteristics to Mirror from Mary| Transformed4More| Christmas| Blog for Teenage Girls

Can you imagine being visited by an angel? What if that angel proceeded to tell you that you would give birth to the Savior of the world even though you were a virgin?

I likely would have freaked out and fainted. Thankfully, Mary, the mother of Jesus and a teenager at the time, did not do this. Although the exchange between Mary and the angel Gabriel proves short, there are three characteristics she shows that we should all attempt mirror in our lives.
