Will God Forgive Me for Sexting?

October 16, 2021

Will God forgive me for sexting| Transformed4More.com

Every month, Google sends me and e-mail that lists what people type in the search bar that leads them to our site. It has never failed over the last year that in the top three results is the question, “Will God forgive me for sexting?” Actually, for most of the last 12 months, this search has been the number one traffic driver to our site.

So why did I type this out first instead of just giving you the answer? Because I want you to know you’re not alone. You may feel that way- like you’re the only Christian girl who has ever given into the temptation or felt the pressure to sext. I assure you, you are not, after all the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you, except what is common to mankind,” and I can tell you, sexual temptation is allllllll too common. If you’d actually like to see the statistics on teens and sexing, click here.

The short answer on sexting

The short answer is YES. God will absolutely forgive you for sexing. After all 1 John 1:9 (ESV) states, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” However, I implore you, do not exit out of this post and think it is just that simple. Please keep reading.

Three ways I Completely BOMBED College Dating

September 18, 2019

Three ways I completely BOMBED college dating| Transformed4More.com

So today, I am opening up about a “chapter” of my life that I don’t like to “read out loud.”

From the title, you can already guess- it’s college dating.

If you notice, on this site I mainly discuss teenage dating from ages 16-18. This is because I did exceptionally well in dating during this age. However, when it comes to college dating, I made many mistakes.

In today’s blog, I want to tell you three ways I screwed up these years from a dating standpoint and hopefully provide you with useful information to keep you from making the same mistakes.

I will also use GIFS. They will help me stay more light-hearted as I write this. Otherwise I would just get mad at myself all over again.

Four Key Lessons I Learned from My First “Real” Boyfriend

August 14, 2019

4 Key Lessons That I Learned from my First "Real" Boyfriend| Transformed4More.com

I started dating my first “real” boyfriend when I was 15 years old. I had just moved 600 miles from the place I had lived all my life. At my new school, there were 2,400 students, and I only knew a handful of people that I had met at basketball camp during the summer, (and Susan, obviously). Needless to say, I was anxious.

After the first few weeks passed, I started to feel less anxious and actually began to notice other people. Most notably, the cute guy in my 2nd period math class. I’ll refer to him as Mark.

A few more weeks passed and Mark and I began to talk more at school. I found out he was the goalie for the soccer team and went to a few of his games. The more we talked, the more I liked him.

Towards the end of September of that year, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We dated almost a year and half. He was my first “real” boyfriend, and I learned so many valuable lessons during our relationship. In today’s post, I want to share them with you in hopes you will learn a few things as well.

5 Reasons to Stop Telling Teen Girls that Pregnancy is the WORST thing that can happen to them

April 30, 2019

5 Reasons to Stop Telling Teen Girls that Pregnancy is the WORST thing that can happen to them| Transformed4More.com| Blog for Christian teenage girls

“Let me tell you something right now, ” Angie’s mom said with a stern look on her face, “having a baby is the worst thing that can happen to you during your teen years. If you go out and have sex, you could chance throwing away the rest of your life.”

Have any of you ever been a part of a conversation like this?

Although I believe that Angie’s mom’s heart is in the right place, as far as not wanting to bring a baby into a less than ideal situation, I wanted to write this post and discuss why statements like this can have a detrimental effect.

Will God Really Give Me the Desires of my Heart?

March 27, 2019

Will God Really Give Me the Desires of My Heart| Transformed4More.com

During the teen years, one verse that is often heard is Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Today, I want to explain this verse and give my own personal story to understanding it. In the beginning of my Christian walk, I thought this meant that if I was faithful, stayed away from sin, and did what was right, God would give me things I sincerely wanted. Things that were good for me and honorable in his sight.

…and I thought He was fulfilling it all when I was 17 and met Seth.
