VLOG: How to Break Up & the Usual Reactions

February 16, 2017

It’s there. That feeling in the pit of your stomach. Your conscious telling you it’s time. It’s time to break up, but how? What do you say? Where do you do it? When? How? How will they react? So many questions.

Breaking up is hard to do. That’s why I am writing this post! I’ve been there and I, like you, had all of these questions and worries. In today’s vlog, Susan and I discuss how to do this someone and the three usual reactions.

It walks you through all five steps of the process: general guidelines, the actual break up, how to handle the three usual responses, what to do immediately afterwards, and what to do after a few weeks. It is very thorough and should answer all of your basic questions.

VLOG: Three Reasons “Missionary Dating” Doesn’t Work

January 31, 2017

What is “missionary dating”?

Have you ever heard someone say, “I’m dating so and so and I am going to help bring him to the Lord”? Have you ever considered dating a non-Christian and hoped he would become a Christian because of it?

This is something that Susan and I deem “missionary dating.” It essentially means that you are dating someone in hopes of bringing them to the Lord, or you just really want to date them and hope you’re Christianity “rubs off” on them. In our vlog we explain three reasons that this doesn’t really work. Do not misunderstand us, it is important to reach the lost, but the dating field is not the mission field.
