(This post is going to give a quick recap of our Alaska trip and you can hear our speaking sessions at the bottom!)
For those of you who don’t know, in July, Susan and I were asked to go to Alaska for our very first speaking opportunity. We literally prayed the day before we were contacted that wherever God wanted to send us we would go. We just thought it would be closer than Alaska, haha.
So we set out for Juneau and after a 16 hour travel day, we finally arrived. The next day, our host took us around Juneau to show us the sites. Let me tell you, on a clear day (which is apparently rare in Juneau) this area is majestic, and I do not use that term lightly. Here are a few snapshots.
The next day we had the Girls Conference called “Becoming You” at Glacier Valley Church of God.
The purpose of the conference was to try and help the girls see the benefit and necessity of founding their identity in Christ. This is, sadly, a much needed talk for the times in which we are living.
Below are the talks we did at the conference. The first one is a tag team between me and Susan that discusses identity foundation of “water” and “sand” and how that impacts your life.
